The flexibility of the Adjuste Giga detent system allows you to use of any lens from a 4.5mm fisheye right up to 300mm on a fullframe sensor. The charts below show the correct lens usage for each detent track.
The Adjuste Giga ships with one black plunger and 4 stainless steel plungers. The different plungers allow you to customise the feel of the detenting system. The plungers come in two strengths, the black plungers being twice as strong as the stainless plungers. The plungers also have a start strength and end strength. The more you tighten the plunger the stronger the detenting force will be.
The different plunger strengths compensate for the varying weight of different camera and lens combinations. The heavier the camera and lens the stronger the plunger force needs to be.
When using more than one plunger the forces are simply added together. When using multiple detent tracks at the same time we recommend that you use the stainless plungers.
