360Precision Adjuste MK1: Changing Detents

The Adjuste has an extremely accurate changeable detent system. As standard the Adjuste ships with a double sided detent.

Depending on the option ordered you will have either a 4|12, 6|12 or 8|12 detent. The standard detent was designed to cover lenses from 8mm up to 35mm. If you're using a longer focal length lens you will need to change the detent. Additional detents can be ordered here. We have detents optimised for lenses from 35mm up to 200mm.

Please note that this guide is for the Adjuste MK1.

Step One
Adjusting the elbow - Step 1The first step in changing the detent is gaining access to the central bolt. To do this you simply remove the top spirit plate. The spirit plate loosens in an anti-clockwise direction.

Step Two
Setting the eblow rulerNow remove the central locking bolt using the supplied 4mm allen key. Once the central bolt has been loosened the mid-plate and the base can be separated. You do not need to remove the central locking bolt from the mid-plate.

Step Three
Adjusting the elbow - Step 1Once the mid-plate and base plate have been separated you will have access to the detent.

Step Four
Adjusting the elbow - Step 2Remove the washers and bearings. Now turn over the base plate to expose the four detent screws.

Step Five
Adjusting the elbow - Step 3Remove the four detent screws.

Step Six
Adjusting the elbow - Step 7You can now replace the detent.

Step Seven
Adjusting the elbow - Step 7When replacing the detent you must make sure you align the start groove on the inside of the detent with the start marker on the base. If these two markers aren't aligned then the start markers on the mid-plate and base plate will not align.
